Gun fire in Vernon puts woman in hospital in critical condition

A woman is in critical condition in the Vernon hospital after being struck with at least one gun shot. The shooting happened over the weekend at a home in a neighbourhood well-known to police for criminal activity. RCMP believe it was a targetted attack, and there’s no risk to the public, but they’re releasing little other information about the investigation.
