Valérie Plante becomes first woman elected as Montreal’s mayor

Denis Coderre has been turffed as Montreal’s mayor after just one term, and is being replaced by Valérie Plante, the first woman elected to the position in the city’s 375-year history. As Mike Armstrong reports, some are calling her “the slayer of giants.”
