Wed, Sep 20: It was a somber day in Moncton, as hundreds gathered to pay tribute to RCMP Const. Francis Deschenes, who was killed last week while changing someone’s tire. A parade of Mounties dressed in red serge marched through the downtown and gathered together for a full regimental service to honour a man known for his love of the job, his family, motorcycles and helping others. Shelley Steeves reports.
