Sat, Aug 19: It was Canada’s bloodiest day of the second world war and 75 years later, Calgarians stopped to remember the Battle of Dieppe. A ceremony took place Saturday, to commemorate the vital role Canadians and Calgarians played in a battle that would prove instrumental as a lesson for D-day. Jenna Freeman reports.
