High winds, waves knock down retaining wall in Peachland

Concrete barriers installed along the shores of Peachland to prevent erosion have given way too heavy wave action. Winds are blowing in excess of 50 km an hour pounding the bladder dams along Highway 97. Crews are on scene evaluating the situation.
