On Tuesday, two NDP MPs called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to suspend the Third Country Agreement following the influx of asylum seekers to Canada. Trudeau responded by saying Canadians have confidence in the immigration system and that the country will continue to be welcoming to those seeking safety, however, things have to be “done properly at the same time.”
