Reaction to the Northern Gateway pipeline

Tue, Nov 29: The federal government’s decision on the Northern Gateway and Line 3 pipeline proposals is expected to be announced today. The Northern Gateway line would see bitumen exported from Northern Albreta to Kitimat, B.C. The project has been met with great opposition by the Gitga’at First Nation. Art Sterritt, spokesperson for the community joined BC1 to explain why he hopes the federal government will vote no.
