Canada’s CF-18 fighter jets are getting old and there’s another plan to replace them, but it will take at least five years. In the meantime, the Liberal government is committing to buying 18 interim jets to fill an apparent capability gap. As Mike Le Couteur reports critics are concerned even that plan might not get off the ground.
