Silver Cross Mother Colleen Fitzpatrick talks about her loss

Each year one Canadian mother is awarded the Silver Cross, chosen to represent all mothers who have lost a child who served in the military. This year’s Silver Cross mother is Colleen Fitzpatrick who lost her son Darren in Afghanistan in 2010. Dawna Friesen recently sat down with Colleen in her hometown of Prince George, B.C.
