Gord Downie set to release solo project inspired by First Nations child Chanie Wenjack

Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie is set to release a new album, graphic novel and film educating Canadians on the story of Chanie Wenjack, a 12-year-old First Nations child who died while fleeing a northern Ontario residential school some 50 years ago. ‘Secret Path’ is set to be released in October.
