Matthew de Grood found not criminally responsible in Calgary’s worst mass murder
Description
May 25, 2016
Wed, May 25: After a short and intense trial, Matthew de Grood has been declared not criminally responsible (NCR) for the first-degree murder of five young people. While this was the expected outcome after expert evidence was given in the case, that didn’t make the ruling any easier for the victims’ families. Nancy Hixt reports.
