‘We have a very difficult road ahead’: Alberta premier gives update on Alberta wildfires, Fort McMurray

Alberta Premier Rachel Notley gave an update on the ongoing wildfires in the province, stating that as of Thursday morning there were 49 wildfires with seven of those fires “out of control.” Notley also said fire conditions remain extreme and that mental health support workers are being made available to evacuees.
