Supreme Court ruling means Metis and non-status Indians are now considered Indians

Thu, Apr 14: It’s an historic day for a population that makes up over half a million people in Canada. The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that non-status Indians and Metis are considered Indians under the constitutional act and as such, are under the jurisdiction of the federal government. Blake Lough reports.
