It’s all system go for an ultra-low discount travel company with a Kelowna connection. It was in January when New Leaf Travel tried to launch, but had to abort its take-off when the Canadian Transportation Agency began questioning whether New Leaf needed a licence. As Kelly Hayes reports, the agency’s new ruling means other low cost carriers could be following New Leaf’s path.
