March 24: A Supreme Court judge has sentenced a Nova Scotia man who beat prominent gay rights activist Raymond Taavel to death in April of 2012. While the case might be over, the actual fate of Andre Denny has yet to be decided. As Global’s Natasha Pace tells us, things didn’t exactly go smoothly during today’s proceedings.
