UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon stayed away from criticizing the government of Canada in particular for the recent decision to go ahead with a controversial arms deal with Saudi Arabia, but said he hopes to continue to encourage world government to stop the flow of arms to dangerous or unstable parts of the world.
