North Korea under suspicion of firing banned weapon

Sun, Feb 7: North Korea says it has put a new observation satellite into orbit, but other countries accuse it of testing a ballistic missile. A rocket was launched from North Korea’s west coast this morning, in what the country calls part of its peaceful space program. But the US, South Korea and others say it was a banned test of a dangerous weapon, and an “intolerable provocation.” Mike Le Couteur reports.
