<strong>WATCH: Another stark reminder today that, despite being well into September, the risks of forest fires in BC is still very real. Aaron McArthur has an update. </strong> VANCOUVER - The evacuation order for residents in homes near the 7700 block of West Coast Road near Sooke due to a forest fire was lifted this afternoon. The fire started in a shed and then spread to the nearby forest. Embers caused spot fires up and down the road and slope. Earlier today, crews evacuated residents from 15 homes and they were asked to go to the <a href="http://www.sooke.org/communityhall/?WT.mc_id=d557aba4185c9e80f692dc1d12543fbd" target="_blank">Sooke Community Centre</a>. It is not known how the fire started at this time or if there are any injuries. Fire departments from the surrounding areas have responded and there are also 12 firefighters from the Coastal Fire Centre on scene. Most of the local fire crews are volunteers. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SacredCircleFriends/posts/10152234487142101" target="_blank">Residents are also asking for help</a> from anyone with horse trailers to move the animals. The 7700 block of West Coast Road is still closed.
