Description
Referendum day has come and gone, and the numbers show Alberta has overwhelmingly voted to remain in Canada. Bolstering pro-unity sentiment in the lead up to the vote was the “Forever Canadian Movement”, which drew support from most of the major parties, as well as Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Thomas Lukaszuk, Alberta’s former deputy premier, joins our Miranda Anthistle for more on the referendum results.
