After seeing the work put into helping his grandson at the children's hospital in Ottawa, Ernie Beskowiney was inspired to give back to children's hospitals in his home province of Alberta. He has spent the last dacade and a half designing and building locomotives and train cars from scratch, at one eighth the size. Every cent raised from his fundraiser goes back to the hospitals, and he says his biggest reward is seeing all the smiling faces take a trip on one of his crreations. Gates Guarin has the story.
