The City of Regina says the project is in the functional design phase and is tentatively planned to conclude at the end of 2026. Subsequent phases will include preliminary design, detailed design and construction. The ongoing feasibility study is about determining the best route for a potential extension of Wascana Parkway to Prince of Wales Drive. Construction would only proceed if the project is viable and if Council approves funding for it in future budgets.
