On Friday, the Halifax Regional Municipality advised residents that the Vincent Coleman ferry won’t return to service until late March. This is the second time the HRM has delayed the return of the ferry due to unavailable parts needed for repairs. Business owners in Downtown Dartmouth say they are worried the ferry schedule change will turn into a permanent money saving solution, causing less foot traffic and business in the area.
