NASA has rolled the Artemis II rocket back to the Vehicle Assembly Building after a helium flow issue affected the upper stage and delayed its launch. At a press conference on Friday, administrator Jared Isaacman said flying the Space Launch System every three years is ‘not a path to success,’ announcing plans to standardize the rocket and increase launch cadence. The agency also revised Artemis III to a 2027 low Earth orbit rendezvous, with moon landing attempts now targeted for 2028.
