The early puck drop wasn’t a deterrent to hockey fans across Halifax on Sunday morning. Restaurants and bars across the city were much busier than usual as people came out in droves to cheer on Canada’s men’s hockey team in the Olympic gold medal game. Despite the result, fans said they’re still proud of the team – which included several Nova Scotian stars. Mitchell Bailey has the story.
