Denmark’s national postal service, PostNord, will deliver its final letter on Dec. 31 – marking the end of traditional operations that lasted 401 years. The reason? PostNord says volumes of letters sent by Danes have declined by more than 90 per cent in the last 25 years. Going forward, the national institute will delivery parcels solely.
