There’s been another meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as peace in Ukraine hangs in the balance. The two leaders met at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida Sunday, hoping they could soon close the gap on a U.S. proposal to end Russia’s invasion. But questions linger over what the Kremlin has in mind. Candice Cole reports. French actress and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot has died at the age of 91. She rocketed to international stardom in the 1950s and quickly became a symbol of French sexuality and femininity. Bardot was also a polarizing figure — she was criticized for her far-right views and was fined repeatedly for inciting racial hatred. Redmond Shannon looks back at Bardot’s life.
