Severe atmospheric river storm causes flooding, mudslides in California

A powerful atmospheric river hammered California over the holidays, triggering record rainfall, flooding and evacuations across multiple regions. Emergency crews say the threat continued Friday – with rain still falling and saturated ground increasing the risk of flooding and debris flows.
