Telemedicine helping rural Canadians reach family doctors

The shortage of family doctors is being felt across the country, but it’s hitting rural communities especially hard. Some residents, struggling to get timely care, are now turning to virtual doctors and telemedicine as an alternative to long waits in local emergency rooms.
