The decades-spanning conflict between Thailand and Cambodia resumed Monday, after violence broke out at several points across the countries’ shared 817km long border. Despite a recent ceasefire brokered by Malaysia and the U.S. and again reinforced at the ASEAN Summit in October. Thai and Cambodian forces have launched several artillery and airstrikes at one another, triggering thousands of residents to flee and killing at least five people.
