After months of rehabilitation from Brazil’s Associacao R3 Animal group, 13 Magellanic penguins were released back into the wild on Friday – and the moment was captured on camera. The semi-aquatic birds were rescued after being found in severely weakened conditions during their migration season. It isn’t uncommon for many to become stranded in this period due to exhaustion or hypothermia.
