Veterans who received the income replacement benefit (IRB) are receiving overpayment letters from Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) requiring them to pay in the thousands. The IRB is granted to Veterans who have been discharged due to illness or injury from service. Meanwhile, many of the Veterans who have received letters claim they have kept their financials up to date and that this is a mistake. Heidi Petracek reports.
