Environmental groups are demanding action after a highly influential research article supporting the safety a popular weed-killer was retracted by its publisher. The study, which was published in the year 2000, concluded the main ingredient in round-up was safe for humans and was cited more then 700 times, including in Health Canada’s 2017 risk assessment.
