The president of the Coastal First Nations in British Columbia says an oil pipeline to the province’s north coast “will never happen,” and blasted the federal government for negotiating a possible deal with Alberta without First Nations at the table. Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to unveil that pipeline memorandum in Calgary Thursday, where the feeling is very different.
