Meunier’s case could lead to a class action lawsuit

Disability advocates and the family of a quadriplegic man who sought assisted death after developing bedsores in a hospital emergency room insist the situation that led to his death is not isolated. The coroner’s report into Normand Meunier’s death calls for change in all Quebec hospitals for patients with spinal cord injuries. As Phil Carpenter reports, Meunier’s case could lead to a class action lawsuit from other patients.
