Mother and son awarded heroism award after dog attack now advocating for bylaw change

A mother and son were awarded Carnegie Medals for their heroism today at Halifax City Hall. This comes after a vicious dog attack in 2023 left the youngest member of their family seriously injured. As Ella MacDonald reports, the pair are now advocating for the bylaw around dangerous dogs be reassessed. A warning to viewers that some images may be disturbing.
