Lawyer for Cowichan Tribes refutes concerns on private property ownership
Description
October 25, 2025
A lawyer for the Cowichan Tribes is refuting concerns being raised about private property ownership in the wake of a landmark B.C. Supreme Court ruling granting the nations a parcel of land in the City of Richmond. Last week, a letter issued by the city surfaced, announcing a public meeting was being held about what this could mean for about 150 property owners in Richmond.
