More details on Tuesday's heavy police presence along the Trent River in Campbellford. Earlier Wednesday, a tow truck crew worked to remove this heavily- damaged pickup truck out of the river in the area of Seymour Quarry Road and Ranney Gorge Drive. Northumberland OPP say they found the truck after initially attending the area around 1:30 a.m. to help paramedics with individuals who had exited the river. Officers held the scene until the OPP divers arrived and then determined no one was in the truck. UPDATE Thursday: OPP have determined items in the pickup are associated with the two individuals who were taken to hospital for water exposure. The investigation continues.
