October 16, 2025
George William Allen was convicted of first-degree murder 20 years ago, but will be allowed to apply for parole two years early after an Edmonton jury approved his faint-hope clause application. Sarah Komadina spoke with the family of victim Garry McGrath about their disappointment with the decision.
