Canadians plan to spend 3 per cent more this holiday season, but the emphasis is on value, and shoppers aren’t shy about using AI to hunt for deals and comparison shop, according to Deloitte Canada’s 2025 Holiday Retail Outlook. This message is in contrast with recent PwC Canada holiday spending data that suggest holiday spending will decrease ten per cent in 2025 compared with the previous year.
