Fredericton water bills to increase to pay for sewer upgrades

Residents of Fredericton are looking at a five per cent increase in their water bills, as City Council has voted to move forward with a proposed 2026 budget for the utility. Officials say the increase is needed to continue upgrading the sewer system. Johnny James.
