A new piece of public art has brought a splash of colour to downtown Peterborough.
An official unveiling during October’s “First Friday Art Crawl” drew a crowd outside 388 Water Street on Friday, where a ribbon cutting marked the completion of the new work.
The downtown mural depicts two figures in an embrace. The design was chosen through a public call for proposals earlier this year. Local Anishinaabe artist Josh Morley spent about 60 hours painting the piece over two weeks in September.
