A day after B.C.’s health minister gave no assurances of an immediate solution to keep emergency rooms open, more ER’s in B.C. announced Sunday they had to temporarily shut down due to staffing shortages. It’s that ongoing uncertainty that has one Lower Mainland municipality tabling a solution of its own. Angela Jung reports.
