Everyday thousands of women in Canada face sexual assault, violence, bullying and discrimination, however sometimes when they try to seek help, they are met with bias, disbelief and/or cultural disconnect. This is especially true for women of colour. A local researcher, along with Sister in Sync, was on Global Edmonton News Morning to talk about the issue and a new toolkit that is available to provide support.
