Discovering Agriculture
Description
September 14, 2025
Hundreds of families got a taste of country living at the 'Discover Agriculture on the Farm' open house south of Winnipeg. The event, which kicks off Farm and Food Awareness Week, gave visitors a chance to enjoy wagon rides, meet farm animals, and sample local products. Organizers say it’s a unique opportunity to connect people with where their food comes from and to celebrate the province's harvest season. Global's Hersh Singh reports.
