September 2, 2025
The Town of Ajax is launching its first-ever Battle of the Buildings competition in an aim to reduce energy consumption by at least 10 per cent. The showdown will be between several participating public buildings. Progress will be tracked in real-time between September 1 to December 31. The winning facility will receive recognition. The Town has committed to lowering greenhouse gas emissions by 20 per cent below 2019 levels by the end of 2025.
