Simons is opening its first shop in Toronto. The department store is located in the city’s Yorkdale mall and will soon be followed by a second location at the Eaton Centre. This comes just months after Simons’ biggest competitor, Hudson’s Bay, filed for bankruptcy and as retailers are enjoying a boost in sales of Canadian-made goods.
