The “Starsailor” rocket is poised to make history as the first Canadian-made rocket in more than 25 years to reach space. Scheduled to launch between August 8 and 22 from a trapline in northern Quebec, the mission is a collaboration between Space Concordia’s Rocketry Division and the local Cree community. This marks a significant milestone in Canadian aerospace and highlights a strong Indigenous partnership in advancing space exploration.
