A New York City police officer is among the dead after a shooting in Midtown Manhattan on Monday, after a gunman made his way through the Park Avenue tower, killing four innocent people and wounding another before taking his own life. A note found on his body suggested he had a grievance against the NFL over unsubstantiated claims that he had suffered from chronic head trauma.
