Oshawa converts Brock and Colborne streets to two-way traffic

Two Oshawa roadways, Brock St. E. from Simcoe to Division streets, and Colborne St. E. from Centre to Division streets are now converted to two-way traffic. Crews repainted and re-signed the previously one-way streets on Monday night. It’s part of a four-pack of one-way streets slated for conversion in the downtown. The plans have been discussed since 2014. City councillor, Derek Giberson says while the streets were originally made one-ways in the 60’s to accommodate shift changes at the General Motors plant, they have become outdated.
