Bee study looks to improve pollinator habitat along Alberta highways
Description
July 13, 2025
Summer travelers on highways outside of Edmonton may have noticed new road signs in the ditches. They’re for a University of Alberta student’s study on bees. As Erik Bay tells us, the hope is the research will provide insight into how roadside management can better promote environments for pollinators in the province.
